Nathan Hatch Day Ceremony

The public is invited to attend this ceremony at 10 a.m. May 26 at Oak Hill Cemetery, located on the east side of North Brookfield Road ½ mile south of Capitol Drive (next to Brookfield Academy).

The Mayor and Common Council will issue a proclamation designating May 26th as "Nathan Hatch Day" and will dedicate as "Nathan Hatch Trail" a new special segment of the Greenway Trail System that connects the Village area to Oak Hill Cemetery.

Private Nathan Hatch, patriot, fought in four tours of duty in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War 1776-1781. He died in 1847. He rests in peace at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
