Farrow, Vrakas to Hold Waukesha County Higher Ed Listening Sessions

Citizens and employers are encouraged to offer feedback on how county higher education institutions can better assist students and economic development.

Are Waukesha County's higher education institutions doing enough to help students get needed training and education and help fuel economic development?

State Rep. Paul Farrow (R-Pewaukee) and Waukesha County Executive Dan Vrakas want to hear from citizens and employers at two listening sessions planned:

  • Tuesday, Jan. 31: 6 to 8 p.m. at Waukesha County Technical College, RTA Center
  • Monday, Feb. 6: Noon to 2 p.m. at UW-Waukesha, Lunt-Fontanne Theatre

Specifically, Farrow and Vrakas want to get public input on how higher education can impact economic development in Waukesha County, the barriers preventing students from reaching their career goals, and the roles UW-Waukesha and WCTC should play in meeting educational needs.
