Patch and the League of Women Voters co-sponsoring forum featuring candidates from Brookfield-area legislative districts.

With eight days to go before the Nov. 6 election, Brookfield residents will have an opportunity to hear first-hand where area state legislative candidates stand on the issues at a forum set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at the city's Municipal Court, 2100 N. Calhoun Road.

Candidates who have agreed to appear are:

  • Democrat John Pokrandt and Republican Robert Hutton, who are running in the 13th Assembly District;
  • Democrat Chris Rockwood and Republican Dale Kooyenga, running in the 14th Assembly District; and
  • Democrat Cindy Moore and Republican Joe Sanfelippo, running in the 15th Assembly District.

Candidates will field questions from a moderator and audience members.

The free forum, which is open to the public, is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County and Brookfield Patch.
