Gov. Scott Walker spoke to Hudson supporters about the results of his collective bargaining reforms, employment statistics, Tom Barrett's record, courage and the importance of grassroots get-out-the vote efforts.
Gov. Scott Walker delivered a campaign speech at the GOP's Hudson Victory Center Saturday to the roaring approval of more than 175 supporters. More than 30 Walker protesters gathered outside the building.
During his speech, Walker touched on education, collective bargaining reforms, employment statistics, his opponent's record, courage and the importance of grassroots get-out-the-vote efforts. He even slipped in a football joke at the expense of , a Walker supporter in attendance who was wearing her Vikings jersey.
Walker is facing Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett in a gubernatorial recall election on June 5.
