Wanggaard Recount Update, Walker Woos IL Jobs, Recall Voting Breaks Record

About two-thirds of the votes in the 21st Senate District recall election have been recounted; as of 5 p.m. Wednesday, just more than 50,000 ballots had been completed.

Turnout of nearly 58 percent was highest ever for a gubernatorial race in a non-presidential year, but still fell short of the numbers in recent presidential elections. In Brookfield, turnout was 85 percent.
