Brookfield Central's Agnello Signs Letter of Intent

Star senior guard Valerierose Agnello will play basketball next year at Kishwaukee College in DeKalb, IL.

Brookfield Central High senior Valerierose Agnello has signed a letter of intent to play basketball next year at Kishwaukee College in DeKalb, Ill. 

Agnello, a team captain and scoring leader, played guard on Lancers teams that won four consecutive .

The last one was icing on the cake for Agnello, who said after the title win, “It’s been a great ride for us. We’ve built quite a legacy here.”

She was instrumental in getting the team to the semi-finals, to defeat conference rival West Allis Lady Bulldogs in the regionals.

Central went on to lose, 43-30, in the against the No. 1 Pius XI Popes, finishing 17-8 overall.

Agnello was MVP her senior season and named to the 1st team All Greater Metro Conference, WBCA Division 1 All Star game, 1st Team CNI All Suburban and 3rd Team Waukesha Freeman All County.

 

Todd Sobrilsky, Central High Athletics and Activities Director, said Agnello was also an excellent student and community volunteer. 

"This is just one of the outstanding young leaders of our school and community," he said.
