Brookfield East Forensics Places 2nd in First Competition

The Spartans finished just three points behind host team Appleton East High School Saturday at the first weekend competition of the year.

Brookfield East High's Forensics team took second place Saturday at this year's first weekend competition, finishing behind host team Appleton East High.

The Spartans' 319-point team finish was three points behind Appleton and 28 points higher than Brookfield East's finish at Appleton last year (with two fewer entries).

"We had a fantastic first weekend of competition," Brookfield East forensics coach Mary Wacker said in an email. "Excellent start!"

2nd Place:  Brookfield East (316)
