Lancer Athletes Sign Letters of College Intent

Seniors Cole Parker and Stuart McBain will sign letters of intent Wednesday to play soccer and football at the collegiate level.

Brookfield Central seniors Stuart McBain and Cole Parker will continue their respective soccer and football careers after high school.

At an 8:30 a.m. ceremony Wednesday at Central, McBain and Parker will sign letters of intent to play, respectively, for the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and Concordia University-Minnesota.

In his senior season, McBain served as the Lancer varsity soccer team's captain and was selected as 1st Team All GMC Conference and All State ("Best of the Rest").

Parker was a varsity football team captain, 1st Team All-Conference GMC, 1st Team All-Suburban CSI and 2nd Team Waukesha Freeman.

Todd Sobrilsky, Brookfield Central's athletics and activities director, said McBain and Parker both "excelled in the classroom as well as in the community.

"They have all devoted time and effort to the improvement of Brookfield Central High School as well as community projects," Sobrilsky said in a news release. "They are just some of the outstanding young leaders of our school and community.
