East's Swittel to Play Soccer for UW - Milwaukee

Senior Taylor Swittel, a Brookfield East soccer and cross-country athlete, will sign her letter of intent Wednesday to play soccer for UW - Milwaukee.

Brookfield East senior Taylor Swittel will play soccer at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.

Swittel will sign her national letter of intent with UW - Milwaukee at a ceremony in East's cafeteria at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

She was a sectional finalist on the 2009 squad that went 7-0 in conference and a second team all-conference selection as a forward on the 2010 squad that finished with a 5-0-2 conference record.

Swittel is a three-year letter winner, and a four-year runner on the Cross Country team. She's the 7th Spartan girls soccer player since 2005 to go on to play at the NCAA Division I level. 

"Taylor's ability to consistently strike the ball with both feet, as well as her tremendous speed, make her an excellent recruit," Brookfield East head coach Matt Schroeder said in a press release.
