East Skiiers Capture First Place at Inaugural Race
Boys team takes second and girls are third.
Brookfield East had two individual champions at the first high school skiing meet of the seaon on Wednesday.
Erica Engstrand won the combined individual girls title in 43.38 seconds and Michael Amato captured the boys gold medal in 41.79 seconds.
Other individuals places for the girls were: Shelby Jacob in 10th; Hailey McKenna in 12th; Chloe Olson in 15th; and Clare Procknow in 16th. For the boys, individual places were: Brad Wolff in fifth and his brother, Michael Wolff in 9th place with a time of 50:42 seconds.

The team competed against Slinger, University School of Milwaukee, Wayland Academy, and West Bend. East's boys were second in the team event and the girls were third.
