Elmbrook Offices May Move to Hillside Elementary

The school district is looking for a new location for their administrative offices and they are eyeing the closed school.

The Elmbrook School District is considering moving its administrative offices into the closed Hillside Elementary School building, reported Brookfield Now.

The district is searching for a location with low operating cost and low maintenance.

Hillside Elementary closed last year due to declining Elmbrook enrollment and a projected budget deficit. In September it was determined that the district saved $1.21 million from the closure.
