Showing of 'Race to Nowhere' Documentary

Elmbrook Parent Network is showing "Road to Nowhere — The Dark Side to America's Achievement Culture" at Elmbrook's two high schools.

The nationally acclaimed documentary on the pressures on high school students will be shown:

  • Thursday, Feb. 9 in the black box theater at High School, 3305 Lilly Rd.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 15 in the cafeteria at High School, 16900 W. Gebhardt Rd. The event should last from 7 to 9 p.m.

After the showing of the film, forensics students from the high schools will moderate a discussion about the documentary.

Interested adults and teens are encouraged to register for the free event to be sure to get a seat. Register online by entering your name and email at www.rtnbrookfieldeastwi-autohome.eventbrite.com for the East High showing and at www.rtnbrookfieldcentralwiautohome.eventbrite.com for the Central High showing.

Forensics students will be selling concessions to help fund their competition trips.
