“To Bond or Not to Bond”

Speaker: Thomas Wargin, president, Liberty Financial Group Inc.

Thomas Wargin of Liberty Financial Group Inc. will lead a presentation and open discussion about the current bond market. We will try to determine how to invest in bonds (or whether we should!) given certain assumptions about the next year and the sort of bond funds, munis, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and closed-end funds (CEFs) that have the portfolio characteristics that would work well given the assumptions.

The meeting will be held in the Brookfield City Hall Senior Center on Wednesday, March 23 starting at 6:00pm..  It is free and open to the public.

Thomas M. Wargin is president of Liberty Financial Group Inc. and carries the designation of certified financial planner (CFP) from the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards in Denver. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designee and maintains his insurance license for consulting purposes.

As a registered investment advisor (RIA) representative and portfolio manager, Mr. Wargin currently manages funds for LFGI clients.
