Homecoming at Central High, Academy

Both schools are offering a full plate of homecoming events alumni and the greater community can enjoy.

It's homecoming weekend for two local high schools: and .

Here's what's on tap for events that not only students and their families, but the entire community can enjoy:

Brookfield Central

Students will get rallied up for the big weekend at a 2 p.m. pep rally in the school gym, 16900 W. Gebhardt Rd.

At 5 p.m. the 16th Annual Chili Feed will offer a $5 All-You-Can-Eat dinner that benefits the Brookfield Central band program. The Lancer Marching Band will put on a special performance.

The Lancer varsity football team's homecoming game against West Allis Central kicks off at 7 p.m. and whatever the outcome, there will be fireworks after the game.

On Saturday night the homecoming dance will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Central High gym.

Brookfield Academy

The festivities kick off at 3:30 p.m. Friday with dinner at the Blue Knight STARS Tailgate Party, 3460 N. Brookfield Rd. The Jr. Knights Field Goal Contest starts at 5:45 pm.

The games begin at 4 p.m. as the Blue Knights' varsity soccer team plays Kenosha St. Joseph, and at 4:15 p.m. the BA varsity field hockey competes against Divine Savior Holy Angels.

At 4:30 p.m. the JV volleyball team plays Lakeshore Christian, and at 5:25 p.m. the JV field hockey goes up against University School of Milwaukee.

At 5:30 p.m. the BA varsity volleyball squad takes on Lakeshore Christian.

And the big homecoming varsity football game vs. Martin Luther kicks off at 7 p.m. Free Terrible Towels and BA mugs will be handed out to fans and alumni as long as they last.
