Elmbrook School District has hired a new principal for Brookfield Central High School.
Brett Gruetzmacher joins the district as the school's new leader, according to JCOnline.com, leaving his job a principal at Tecumseh Jr. High School in Lafayette, IN. Gruetzmacher starts Aug. 19.
Brookfield Central Associate Principal Natalie Collins had been in the running for a position with the Shorewood School District — but the board last week voted to continue the search for other candidates.
