The Elmbrook Parent Leadership Council is holding an election forum March 22 for two contested School Board races. Submit questions by March 19 that you'd like the candidates to answer and they might be used by the moderator.

The Elmbrook Parent Leadership Council (EPLC) is holding an election forum March 22 for two contested School Board races. The public is invited to submit potential questions, which the moderator might choose to ask during the forum.

The forum will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 22 in the School Board room at the district's central administrative office, 13780 Hope St. in Brookfield.

The election is Tuesday, April 3.

There are two board seats up for election, and both incumbents are seeking re-election but face challengers. Incumbent Meg Wartman and Lynne Thomas are vying for an at-large seat. Incumbent Jean Lambert and Paul Byrne are competing for the Area IV seat. Residents can vote for one person in each race.

The top vote-getters will serve three-year terms and earn $3,600 a year. Look for more coverage on the races next week on Brookfield Patch.
