VIDEO: Tosa East at Brookfield Central Boys Basketball
Lancers get a 60-50 win in Greater Metro Conference play.
Seth Mortag scored all of his 15 points in the second half as Brookfield Central held off Wauwatosa East 60-50 in high school boys basketball on Friday. Riley LaChance of Central led all scorers with 21.
Ben Carpenter led East with 14 points, including four 3-pointers, and Diamonte McKinley added 13.
Brookfield Central also won the junior varsity game, 47-40. Zach Tichelaar scored 17 points and Brad Newman 16 for the Lancers. East made a spirited comeback in the fourth quarter but came up short. Jalen Fischer scored 11 points and Christian Tolbert added 10.
