UPDATE: WIAA Playoffs: Spartans Take On Once-Beaten Greendale

East (6-3, 4-3 Greater Metro Conference) shut out four of its first five opponents but then lost three of its last four, including a in the regular season finale.

Greendale (8-1, 8-0 Woodland Conference) lost its opening game to Franklin 17-10 before tearing through league play. The Panthers had two close games — a 27-25 win over New Berlin Eisenhower and a 14-7 victory over South Milwaukee. They averaged 44.6 points in their other six victories.
