Sileno Quarry History

I haven't written an entry in a while, but I thought I'd post this.  I also posted this as a comment, but this method allows you to just click on the link to see the page.

Almost two years ago there was some interest in developing the Sileno quarry located at Burleigh and Lilly.  Here's a link to what I wrote then, with photos:

Local freelance writer Tad Schaar wrote a detailed history of the quarry on his web site. It has lots of interesting details about the quarry and the city that grew up around it.

I'll have lots more to say leter, but for now I just want to assure you that the elected officials and the city staff are analyzing the situation closely and will do our best to reach the best outcome for all of us.
