Brookfield Academy Competes in Cross Country Invite
The Blue Knights boys and girls ran in the Whitefish Bay R. Vanden Avond Invite at Kletsczh Park.
The Blue Knights finished 11th out of 13 teams in Thursday's Whitefish Bay cross country invitational at Kletzsch Park.
Junior Elias Volk was 15th with a time of 17:11. Other finishers were Peter Gardner (68th, 19:17), Ethan Warren (69th, 19:21), Arek Kashian (83rd, 23:15), Griffin Oleszczuk (84th, 23:40) and Douglas Peters (85th, 25:26).
Wisconsin Lutheran was the boys champion with 39 points.

Brookfield Academy girls finished ninth of 10 teams with 222 points. Finishers were Mary Beth Griffin (31st, 17:34), Alison Armstrong (32nd, 17:38), Abigail Snell (48th, 18:32), Natalie Kustner (50th, 18:42), Annabelle Paulson (61st, 20:01), Emma Paulson (62nd, 20:25) and Xylia Parker (63rd, 20:28).
Whitefish Bay was the girls champion with 29 points.
