How to Handle a Penalty Kick Shootout
Brookfield Central junior Rachel Oleson, the goalkeeper for the Lancers' state-bound girls soccer team, shared some of her insights into handling a penalty kick shootout.
Brookfield Central (14-5-3) meets Neenah (17-4-1) at noon Thursday in the first quarterfinal of the WIAA girls soccer state tournament at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee.
The Lancers, champions from 2002-05, are back for the 12th time. They defeated Neenah 1-0 back on April 20 this year. If the Lancers will, they'll face the winner of Cedarburg and Eau Claire Memorial at 6 p.m. Friday. The championship is at 2 p.m. Saturday.
