Lancer Boys Volleyball Knocked Out by Shorewood

The Shorewood Greyhounds team defeated Brookfield Central in straight games to end the Lancers' championship run.

The Lancers' boys volleyball team's championship run ended Tuesday night when Shorewood beat Brookfield Central in three games in the sectional semifinals in Shorewood.

The Lancers came close in the first game, fighting to a 25-22 outcome. But they lost control after that, finishing 25-15 and 25-19.

Joe Lesko scored nine kill shots, with Andrew Dusing adding 20 assists and Tanner Swan putting up three block shots and nine digs.

On the Greyhounds side of the net, junior Andrew Mueller had 14 kills, senior Ken Plaisted add 37 assists and senior Adam Kessenich had 15 digs.
