Malett to Replace Farley as East's Boys Basketball Coach

Matt Malett, head coach of Brookfield East's JV basketball program, has been promoted to lead the varsity boys basketball team.

Brookfield East High has promoted Matt Malett to lead the varsity boys basketball team, replacing Andy for an associate principal job in Menomonee Falls.

Malett joined East in 2002 with the Jr. Spartans and has moved up through the coaching ranks, mostly recently serving as head coach for the JV basketball team.

Athletic Director Corey Golla, who also is leaving to become Menomonee Falls High School Principal, said of Malett: "In my time at East few coaches have possessed the complete skill set that Coach Malett has at his disposal. He is driven, knowledgeable, and continually fascinated by the craft of coaching. He will be an outstanding head coach."
