Nicolet, Brookfield and Menomonee Falls Germantown were among the teams that competed in Friday's WIAA Gymnastics Sectional in Waukesha.

While none of the local teams that competed in the WIAA Division 1 Gymnastics Sectional at Waukesha West High School Friday made it to state, several individual gymnasts did advance.

Arrowhead, with 145.100 total points, and Homestead, with 139.850 points, were the top two teams in the nine-school field and will compete in the state tournament on Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids.

The top five finishers in each individual event will compete in Friday's individual finals.
