Formed in the 1950s like many churches during Brookfield's incorporation, Brookfield Lutheran Church is part of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. The Brookfield congregation touts itself as being a Christ-centered, growing, vibrant and relationally-focused church with the mission of connecting people to life in Jesus. Spurred by congregation and programming growth, the church has developed plans to build a 30,000 square foot stand-alone sanctuary to seat 800 to 1,000 visitors.
