The City of Brookfield Fire Department staffs three fire stations around the clock, each with five firefighters/emergency medical technicians. The department is certified to provide paramedic- and basic-level EMT services.
All three fire stations are located along Calhoun Road, the north-south road in the city's geographic center. The southern station is at Greenfield Avenue, the central station is next to City Hall and the northern station is just north of Capitol Drive. Two of the stations were rebuilt in 2009.
