I was at this store last night around 6 pm to get some balloons and was appalled by how the manager was treating his employee. He was very condescending to her, yelling at her for ringing up the transaction incorrectly and lecturing her about the credit card machine all while I was standing there with my toddler. They voided out my transaction as they failed to charge me for a balloon and recharged me for it. He made a big deal of it. Personally, I would have just let it go and waited until the customer was gone to reprimand my employee. Or just ask kindly if I could pay for the additional balloon. The employee was clearly embarrassed and I was uncomfortable. In addition, I also heard the manager talking about voiding out another person's credit card transaction so as not to have to pay the fee. Isn't that illegal? I will be sure to never visit this store again.
