April 2012 Election: Brookfield Common Council

Position Description

There are 14 members on the Brookfield Common Council, or two members for each of the city's seven aldermanic districts. The council meets the first and third Tuesday of the month. More information on city aldermanic representatives is on the city's website.

This year, there are three contested aldermanic elections April 3. Three incumbents are running for re-election, and there are three challengers. Incumbent Dan Sutton faces a challenge from former Municipal Judge Dick Steinberg. Incumbent alderman Buck Jurken will vie with Cathy Wolfla. Incumbent Renee Lowerr faces a challenge from Thomas Schellinger.
