Position Description
There are seven members on the Elmbrook Board of Education. The board meets the second and fourth Tuesday of the month during the school year. More information is on Elmbrook's website.
This year, there are two seats open for the election April 3. Two incumbents are running for re-election, and there are two challengers. Voters will be asked to choose between incumbent Meg Wartman and challenger Lynne Thomas for an at-large seat, and between incumbent Jean Lambert and challenger Paul Byrne for an Area IV seat.

Interesting that the incumbents refer to a balanced budget. Did our $16 million budget shortfall that they got us into and discussed endlessly for the past 2 years suddenly go away? How can we have a balanced budget only when they are running for reelection?
