Nothing new there Black panther o Poetry the human race has been delving the depth of depravity forRead More eons. There are a lot of good people in our world, but unfortunately evil is hyper active

It says Around Town but the headline is UTAH. Utah is not near Natick!! I think everyone should notRead More open an article on Patch unless they see their town's name in the headline. So If it doesn't say Natick, then we all know it is not LOCAL to the Natick Patch. The less clicks these Patch sites get, the fewer advertisers they will get and then perhaps they will realize if we want sensational news from across the country we'd go back to Patch's former owners AOL and the HuffPost! Those here from other Patch sites - I think you should do the same only click on articles that mention your community's name. No name. No click!

A big thank you for doing a great job. All the editors of the patch did a wonderful job a d now IRead More will have to go back to conventional news. Again, thank you to you, Lisa sink and all that made Brookfield patch special

For those in the news business, there are opportunities out there, you have to either find them orRead More make them. Harness the power of the Net.

Yes, it's a shame, but the barn has sat empty for decades, though it is clearly a good example ofRead More the Wisconsin history of both local family farming and of barn building. It needs to be moved to Old World Wisconsin in Eagle to take its place among the displays and permanent living history there. Now, who will donate the $500,000 that it would take to professionally dismantle the structure over the course of a half-to-full year; load, truck and unload it in a systematic way; and then, professionally re-assemble the structure on site, after a fieldstone foundation has been dug and built, and finish landscaping is provided for, together with plumbing and electrical. No one? I guess then we will need to remember it through photos. That's a shame, certainly, but historic buildings aren't saved and renovated for a current use simply because it's a nice thing to do. It only happens when it makes some kind of financial sense and there is a useful and active purpose for the structure. (Agree? Disagree?)

Barns are being used for weddings. The ceremony and reception are held in the barn. the barn ownerRead More provides only the space. My granddaughter recently booked a barn near Madison for next September. There were few vacant dates. Perhaps the Eble barn could be similarly used. The income generated could be used to maintain the barn.

@Samantha — perhaps that's why all three flavors ended up sticking around, but I have to sayRead More I'm surprised chicken & waffles could top the list! I might just have to go back to get a bag after all.

I respectfully reiterate my opposition to the dump project at Sileno Quarry in view of allRead More information publicly available including that provided by the City. Another article drew the suggestion for a referendum. I believe a referendum is a good idea to determine a whole community decision.

most residents who do not live near the quarry will not vote

In my daily goings about, I've seen BRAD signs north of Capital and as far south as Greenfield. IRead More myself do not live in the immediate vicinity of the proposed project. It would appear - but without assuming - that many are interested in what happens in our whole community.

Classes there are a lot of fun. And they've done a Groupon in the past where you get 2 weeks forRead More $20 or something like that. We really liked the classes but couldn't justify the price. For a family it's somewhere around $110/mo for Boxing and Kickboxing classes. At the Y it's only $65/mo for kickboxing, swimming, cardio, day care, yoga, weight lifting, etc, etc. Now, if they'd team up with the Y and offer these classes at the Y, that'd be pretty neat. I highly recommend every try a class because your FIRST CLASS IS FREE.
