Hi Pat, I just heard the unfortunate news about the loss of Santo from Ron Woolsey, Rich AndersonRead More & Gary Blaschke yesterday at softball practice (on March 15, 2013). I am still shocked and he will be missed at Brookfield East! I always remember in the past getting ready for football on a cold night and there he is with his little stool in front of the gate. I also remember going past the ticket table and always saw Pat & Santo greeting me. Athletics will not be the same for me and will personally be hard for me not to see him in the stands or on that stool. Once Again Pat, sorry for the loss. Shaun J. Voss 1997 Brookfield East Alumni

Shripathi Kamath wrote: "...Oh wait, what you meant to say was the rapist and the victim bothRead More exercised their free wills, and the rape was their unanimous choice?..." Not at all. Unfortunately atheists like to blame GOD for the evil that men. GOD would love to prevent a rape from happening, but to interfere would be to take away the free will HE gave all men. To take it away from one would be to take it away from all. Instead, HE will reserve his judgement and action until the time of HIS choosing, ie. when the rapist dies and stand in front of GOD for judgement. To illustrate, the rapist is violating the victims free will (choice if you will) not to be raped. In return, the Judicial System will, justifiable, "violate" the rapists free will of not being sent to prison. In other words, we as men will deliver our judgement on the rapist, but GOD will deliver a far worse judgement later. If you are indeed an atheist, then since you don't believe in GOD or HIS gift of free will, your argument is moot. It's just another way for you to try and convince Christians, Jews, Muslims and other Monotheists how intelligent you are by disproving GOD exists. But it doesn't matter. GOD will continue to exist with or without your approval!

Consider these facts before you vote: 1. Is the economy better off now than it was four yearsRead More ago? Based on the evidence, I'd have to say no. Wages are down, the the prices of everything we buy is up. The price of gas has doubled. Good jobs are scarce. 2. Are the slight "up tics" in the economy a solid trend in the right direction? I don't think so. First, the gains are very slight. Second, I believe they are the result in the temporary stimulus by the Federal Reserve, in which they printed a lot of new money. It provides a slight bump now, but the cost will come later - after the election. Ben Bernanke is trying to save Obama's job, along with his own. 3. The continual misrepresentation of Romney on the auto bailout by the Obama administration. Obama appears to be taking complete credit for the bailout, while simultaneously saying that Romney was for liquidation of the auto industry. This is an absolute falsehood. It was Bush who initiated the bailout and TARP. Obama continued it and then expanded it, to his credit. However, Romney was one of the first to say that the industry needed to go through bankruptcy reorganization, and eventually they did exactly that. He also said that any needed loans should come from the private sector. He never said that the industry should be liquidated, or that he would deny federal funds if he were president, and private sector funds were not available. Obama lies! 4. The Benghazi coverup and lies.

People who want to be in a union can still be in a union. Limiting what can be collectivelyRead More bargainged for by those unions does not violate any rights. There are other states that do not allow any CB or unionization so clearly the US Constitution does not apply. To suggest that the freedom of speech or association is somehow infringed by what Walker did demonstrates a lack of understanding of what The US Constitution says. IF The US Constittuion says public workers have a "right" to unionize and collectively bargain for 'this', 'that' or 'whatever' why do federal workers not have the same rights?

@Frances: this is settled law. The plaintiffs argument is nutty, and the judge's action is anRead More overreach. But will he incur the wrath he deserves from his specious decision? Time will tell. Another hero was just made in some circles in Madistan.
