The new Aaron Rodgers-Ryan Braun restaurant, 8-twelve MVP Bar & Grill, held a private big bash Sunday night to celebrate its grand opening in the Town of Brookfield. Among those in the packed crowd: the two MVPs, Surg Restaurant Group owner Omar Shaik, Gov. Scott Walker and his wife and sons, Brookfield Mayor Steve Ponto and Waukesha County Executive Dan Vrakas. Aaron Rodgers and Ryan Braun are teaming up with the Hunger Task Force at their new restaurant, according to a news release from the SURG Restaurant Group. The food drive is being held in conjunction with the opening of the athletes’ restaurant in Brookfield, 8-twelve. The restaurant quietly opened earlier this month in the Town of Brookfield at 17800 W. Bluemound Rd., in the former Charro pan-Latin restaurant.
