Week Ahead: 4K, Open Enrollment, Funeral Home, Meet 25 Preschools

The Elmbrook School Board will discuss issues including open enrollment and 4K while the city Plan Commission reviews a funeral home / crematorium project.

The final full week of summer before school starts for many also includes a library program on China and office hours for state Sen. Rich Zipperer.

Parents are getting excited and children are realizing the end of summer is near. So what are you going to do the last full week before school starts for many on Sept. 1? Here's a glimpse into what's happening in Brookfield events and news this week: Elementary school closure discussion: The Elmbrook School Board might narrow which school closure options should be presented for community input at September listening sessions. The board meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the central administrative offices, 13780 Hope St. All politics is local: Offer your take on state politics or get assistance as state Sen.
