National Weather Service Says Severe Storms Possible Tonight

Things could get ugly tonight in southern Wisconsin and the National Weather Service says storms are a brewing, and they aren't ruling out a potential tornado.

Batten down the hatches tonight southern Wisconsin. According to the National Weather Service: An isolated threat for strong to severe storms with damaging winds and perhaps a brief tornado exists for southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois this evening.  The primary threat is for damaging straight-line winds, but a brief tornado can't be ruled out according the The Storm Predication Center in Norman, OK. Unseasonably warm and humid air pushed north into southern Wisconsin in the early afternoon hours of December 3, 2012, which set the stage for thunderstorms. Waukesha County Judge Gets Ticket for Disorderly Conduct

Caledonia Police Department arrested Linda Van De Water, of Brookfield, earlier this year. She faces a $100 citation, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Linda Van De Water, a Waukesha County Circuit Court judge who was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct earlier this year, pleaded no contest to an ordinance violation of disorderly conduct, according to Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report. The citation was $100, according to the report, and reduced the charge against Van De Water from a misdemeanor through the plea agreement. Online court records have not yet been updated. Van De Water was scheduled to appear in Racine County for a status hearing and the case was going to trial on Thursday. Van De Water, 48, of Brookfield was accused of getting involved in an altercation with her boyfriend, who was dating another woman, in Caledonia. At one point, Van De Water kicked a car and jumped …

Waukesha Judge Faces Disorderly Conduct Charge in Caledonia

Linda Van De Water was the odd woman out on a lover's triangle.

A Waukesha County Circuit judge is facing criminal charges after she allegedly tracked down and jumped on her ex-boyfriend’s car in Caledonia.    The Racine County District Attorney’s Office filed a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge against Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Linda Van De Water, 48, of Brookfield, last week. The Caledonia Police Department released the police report today. Van De Water was elected as a judge in 2003. She ran for District II Court of Appeals in 2010 and lost. According to a report by Caledonia police, officers responded to a report of suspicious circumstances, disorderly conduct and damage to property complaint at 2:28 a.m. Jan. 16.
