A 14-year-old Milwaukee boy must have had some interesting explaining to do when he was released to his parents after being caught shoplifting. A 23-year-old Waukesha woman is accused of yelling at people outside of the food court at Brookfield Square Mall. Caitlin B. Arent was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of disorderly conduct. If convicted, she faces up to 90 days in jail and $1,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 2:37 p.m. Oct. 27, a Brookfield police officer was driving through the parking lot of the mall when he heard and saw Arent sitting on a bench outside of the food court yelling at people. A 73-year-old Brookfield man is accused of assaulting a Milwaukee County Transit System bus driver after he became upset the bus was parked on Greenfield Avenue. Hubert G. Smith was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one felony count of battery to a public transit operator and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. If convicted, he faces up to 21 months in prison and $11,000 in fines. A Brookfield man secretly followed a woman who lives with him, catching her meeting up with a Hartland man who displayed a handgun when the Brookfield man intervened, according to a criminal complaint. Brookfield police on Monday warned a 52-year-old man to stick to shopping after he admitted to masturbating surreptitiously in his pickup in a Capitol Drive parking lot.
