A Brookfield woman whose car struck a telephone pole and left the scene had five bottles of Ambien in her car, a criminal complaint alleges. Kelly T. Blaha, 24, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Wednesday with one misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance. If convicted, she faces up to 30 days in jail and $500 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On July 23, Brookfield police officers were called to North Calhoun Road and Civic Drive on the report of a hit and run accident. A 19-year-old Waukesha man is accused of causing a Brookfield car accident after smoking synthetic marijuana and driving. Brandon J. Lehr was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Tuesday with felony bail jumping and possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted, he faces up to three years and three months in prison and $10,500 in fines. A West Allis man broke into cars at a Town of Brookfield hotel so he could get money to buy drugs, charges allege. Jacob L. Anderson, 23, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Wednesday with three counts of entry into a locked vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of possession of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. A Brookfield woman who provided the oxycodone that lead to the death of Waukesha resident Matthew D. Dziatkiewicz will avoid prison. Jessica J. Hintz, 26, pleaded guilty in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Thursday to felony first-degree reckless homicide by delivery of drugs. Waukesha County Circuit Judge Kathryn Foster sentenced Hintz to four years probation. She could have faced up to 40 years in prison. Prosecutors said that in November 2011, Hintz got a bag of oxycodone pills from a friend at a bar in Milwaukee and late on Nov. 4, she ingested two while Dziatkiewicz, 25, took five of the pills and consumed alcohol. Melotik, 39, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one count of theft from a person and one count of disorderly conduct. A Brookfield woman is facing charges after she allegedly stole her friend’s credit card in 2009 and used it to buy items for herself. Elise M. Somers, 22, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Friday with five counts of identity theft. If convicted, she faces up to 30 years in prison. According to the criminal complaint: On May 14, 2009, a woman reported her credit card had been stolen and used to purchase roughly $565 worth of goods at stores in Brookfield.
