Two Accused of Selling $4K in Pot to Police Informant

The suspects were arrested after selling a half pound of marijuana in the parking lot of Brookfield Square mall, charges allege.

Two men sold $4,300 worth of marijuana to a police informant over the course of three meetings in the parking lot of Brookfield Square mall, charges allege. Devin M. Kornuth, 18, of West Allis, and Michael A. Terry, 23, of Milwaukee, each were charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Thursday with three counts of manufacture and delivery of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. If convicted, they each face up to 10 ½ years in prison and $30,000 in fines. Teen Caught Selling Marijuana to Police Informant

A 19-year-old Brookfield man sold a "teener" of marijuana in the parking lot of Grasch Foods, a criminal complaint alleges.

A Brookfield man sold marijuana to a police informant in the parking lot of Grasch Foods, a criminal complaint alleges. Aaron Jacobson, 19, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of manufacture and delivery of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. If convicted, he faces up to 3 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On March 24, 2011, a police informant contacted a detective with the Waukesha County Metro Drug Unit and informed him he could purchase a “teener” of marijuana from Jacobson. The informant set up the deal with Jacobson, which was then observed by investigators. The informant purchased 3.9 grams of the drug from Jacobson for $35. He will make his initial …

Waukesha Woman Caught With Cocaine in Brookfield

Suspect told police she was using the drug earlier in the night before getting behind the wheel, a criminal complaint alleges.

A Waukesha woman drove while impaired after taking cocaine, a criminal complaint alleges. Sandra M. Brunia, 41, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Thursday with one count of possession of cocaine. If convicted, she faces up to one year in county jail and $5,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 2:20 a.m. May 14, Brunia was pulled over by Brookfield police officers near Calhoun Road and Bluemound Road, where she ended up being arrested for operating while intoxicated. Officers then searched her purse where they found cocaine inside a plastic bag. Brunia said she had been using the drug earlier in the night before she was arrested. She will make her initial appearance in court July 9.

Officers searching an 18-year-old Brookfield man's vehicle found cocaine, MDMA, prescription pills and marijuana, after red flags emerged in a traffic stop for speeding, charges allege.

An 18-year-old Brookfield man is facing felony drug charges after car air fresheners and a marijuana leaf bracelet led an Elm Grove police officer to suspect there were drugs in the car. Charles B. Zillmer was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Wednesday with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of cocaine, THC, drug paraphernalia and an illegally obtained prescription drug. If convicted, he faces up to 14 ½ years in prison and $32,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Nov. 15, an Elm Grove police officer on patrol in the 14300 block of Watertown Plank Road saw Zillmer driving 40 to 45 miles per hour in a 25-mph speed zone and pulled him over. A Milwaukee man told police officers he stole 50 bottles of Tussionex for his own personal use, charges allege.

A Milwaukee man is facing charges after he was caught trying to steal bottles of Tussionex while working at UPS in Elm Grove. Terry D. Barnes, 22, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Wednesday with attempted theft and possession of an illegally obtained prescription drug. If convicted, he faces up to 10 ½ months in prison and $5,500 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On April 10, police were called to the UPS facility after an employee saw Barnes take several boxes and place them off to the side, then open one up to take items out of it. When police arrived, they discovered Barnes had taken bottles of Tussionex from the box. Barnes admitted to the theft, saying he stole about 50 bottles of Tussionex from the facility …

Brookfield Woman Faces Homicide Charge in Waukesha Drug Overdose

Brookfield woman accused of supplying drugs that killed a 25-year-old man who overdosed at a Waukesha apartment, according to a criminal complaint.

A Brookfield woman was charged Wednesday with reckless homicide for allegedly supplying oxycodone to a Waukesha man who fatally overdosed. Jessica J. Hintz, 26, faces up to 40 years in prison if she is convicted of selling the oxycodone that killed Matthew D. Dziatkiewicz, 25, in November 2011. A warrant has been issued for her arrest on the homicide charge. According to the complaint: Officers from the Waukesha Police Department were dispatched to an apartment building at 1300 Blackhawk Trail at 12:44 a.m. Nov. 5 for the overdose. Dziatkiewicz was not responsive on the living room floor, and after CPR attempts were made by the Waukesha Fire Department, he was transported to Waukesha Memorial Hospital. A motorcyclist drove through two red lights as he led authorities on a chase that exceeded speeds of 120 miles per hour through the Town of Brookfield, charges allege. Michael W. Klaviter, 23, of Germantown, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Friday with attempting to flee an officer, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a motor vehicle after revocation of his license.
