Brookfield man who wakes up early to make his family breakfast finds a burglar in his kitchen, charges allege.

A 54-year-old Milwaukee man broke into a Brookfield home, but was caught by the homeowner who got up early to make breakfast, a charge alleges. Michael A. Rosin was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Friday with one count of burglary. If convicted, he faces up to 12 ½ years in prison and $25,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 3:50 a.m. Thursday, a man living in the 20100 block of Freedom Court got up early to make his family breakfast when he spotted a flash of light coming from the downstairs of the home.
