Are We Alone? Talk at Elm Grove Library May Sway You
Author Edward Thieme will present some of his findings on how the government has handled the UFO phenomena over the years, hoping to make you question what's "out there."
A former Episcopal priest, Richard Thieme has written on the age of computers, hackers and technology's impact on religion during the 1980s But latest collaboration, "UFOs and Government: A Historical Inquiry", may have the broadest appeal based on the fact that everyone has an opinion, if not a personal story, on the subject. Thieme will discuss the findings in the book at the Elm Grove Public Library at 6 p.m. March 27. The book includes research led by Michael Swords, a retired professor at Western Michigan University with an extensive knowledge of UFO history, and managed by Robert Powell, director of research at the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON for the true believers).
