Influenza cases are on the rise throughout the entire country, and area schools and hospitals in Waukesha County are seeing a huge increase in the illness this year compared to last year. Waukesha Patch Facebook fans have been fighting the flu – although not everyone. While some households have been experiencing the illness and its symptoms, others have remained untouched. I'm going to have to agree. I don't get a flu shot and I really never get the flu. My husband rarely gets sick and when co-workers were getting hit hard, he got hit hard and brought it home to me. 5 days of fever, basically feeling like you got hit by a steamroller and a lingering cough now into my third week.
