Indians Defeat Lancers 14-0 on Homecoming Night

The Indians will host Brookfield Central tonight at Schumann Stadium. With a win, and a little help from their rivals, the team could earn a share of the conference title.

The Indians did what they had to do Friday to earn a slice of the Greater Metro Conference title, but it wasn't meant to be. The Indians blanked the Brookfield Central Lancers 14-0 to finish the year 6-1 in conference play and 7-1 overall. The Indians needed some help from an unlikely ally in the Sussex Hamilton Chargers in order to grab a share of the title. However, Brookfield East pulled out a win against Sussex 14-13 in overtime and remained undefeated to capture sole possesion of the Greater Metro crown. Had the Chargers won, it would have forced a three-way tie for first place. Regardless, Falls sent the fans home happy on Homecoming night. Great job all season long. Now, on to the playoffs where ANYTHING can happen! It's been a great Fall for Fa's sports. This weeks games are all playoff games and they're all at home: Soccer sectionals on Thursday, Football playoff game Friday and Volleyball regional game on Saturday. The Recall Scott Walker movement is sure to pass according to current petitioners and volunteers in the Recall Walker Campaign. One volunteer said, “I think we’re going to get 750,000 votes.” Volunteers are all over Wisconsin collecting signatures from students, faculty and everyday citizens.
