Milwaukee Tool is expanding its facilities in Brookfield to create 128 new jobs. The expansion of its research and development center will include jobs such as project leaders, design engineers, electrical engineers and technicians, reported the BizTimes. The company announced its $6 million investment plan with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. (WEDC), which is helping the expansion with up to $2.1 million in tax credits, according to the BizTimes article. Milwaukee Tool was founded in 1924, producing heavy-duty electric power tools and accessories for a professional user, according to its website. The company, a subsidiary of Techtronic Industries Co.
