Police say they find marijuana, paraphernalia and intent to sell in different ways after they are called to Brookfield Central High School for a fight.
A report of a fight between two students at Brookfield Central High School was just the start of a lot of trouble for one of them. Anthony K. Bagwell, 18, faces one felony charge of possession with intent to deliver THC, along with three other misdemeanors that include disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to a criminal complaint, Brookfield police were called to the school on the morning of May 7 due to a fight between Bagwell and another student. While police were investigating that scuffle, they also were notified by another student, a female, that Bagwell had left marijuana in her vehicle. Charges were filed this week in a pair of 2010 burglaries in Brookfield; the man charged is already in prison for the same act elsewhere.
A man already serving time in prison was charged this week with in a pair of November 2010 home burglaries in Brookfield. Lance A. Nehmer, 41, was charged with two counts of burglary, a Class F felony. He is already a resident of Kettle Moraine Correctional Institution, having been found guilty in 2011 on three counts of burglary in two separate cases and sentenced to five years in prison. According to the complaint, both Brookfield burglaries took place Nov. 17, 2010. Police were first called to the 16000 block of Siesta Lane at 4:54 p.m., after a homeowner reported someone had entered the house by force and taken a laptop. Five men have been charged in connection with six 2011 home invasions in Brookfield and Menomonee Falls, crimes in which guns, televisions and other electronics were stolen. Twelve felony charges were filed in Waukesha County Circuit Court; most were for burglary to building or dwelling as party to a crime. Not every defendant took part in every crime.
