Honor Flight Movie Playing This Week Only
The documentary film that follows the story of the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight airs in Marcus Theatres throughout the state this week, but not before members of Congress take time to view the movie on their home turf.
The documentary film showcasing the locally born Stars and Stripes Honor Flight will play at the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday in front of members of Congress as well as capitol staff and Honor Flight volunteers. Jo Jensen, of Honor Flight, said four members of Congress will speak during a reception before the movie shows, and five WWII veterans will also be present. The documentary, titled "The Story of Stars and Stripes Honor Flight," will hit the big screen in select Marcus Theatres across Wisconsin for three days: this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
