A West Allis man stole items from cars at a Town of Brookfield hotel to sell them to buy drugs, police allege.
A West Allis man broke into cars at a Town of Brookfield hotel so he could get money to buy drugs, charges allege. Jacob L. Anderson, 23, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Wednesday with three counts of entry into a locked vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of possession of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. If convicted, he faces up to 33 months in prison and $31,500 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Aug. 21, Anderson wanted to buy drugs but needed money. Suspect has marijuana and amphetamine in his wallet while he and another man broke into cars in the parking lot of the Town of Brookfield movie theater.
An Oconomowoc man caught breaking into cars at the Marcus Majestic Cinema had marijuana and amphetamine in his wallet, a criminal complaint alleges. Michael C. Ardellini, 20, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of possession of a controlled substance. If convicted, he faces up to one year in county jail and $5,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: Town of Brookfield police were called to the movie theater Jan. 9 after employees found Ardellini and another man breaking into cars in the parking lot. Two Brookfield hotels have been hit with car break-ins, with someone smashing windows to steal GPS units and other items, police reports say. Security at the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel, 375 S. Moorland Rd., called police about 4:30 a.m. Saturday to report that seven vehicles had windows smashed and items stolen in the hotel's south and west lots. According to the police reports: Items taken included checks, cash, tools, GPS units, clothes and a Springfield Armory 40-caliber subcompact handgun containing 50 rounds of ammunition. Four days earlier the Courtyard by Marriott - Milwaukee Brookfield, 16865 W. Bluemound Rd., had a half-dozen car break-ins with smashed windows.
