Poorly Timed Text Message Lands Felony Charge for Waukesha Teen
Suspect is busted with marijuana in Brookfield after someone sends a message looking to buy drugs while a cop is present.
A Waukesha teenager got an ill-timed text message from someone asking to buy marijuana from him just as a Brookfield police officer was searching his car, a criminal complaint alleges. Aaron J. Will, 17, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Thursday with one count of possession with intent to deliver THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. If convicted, he faces up to 3 1/2 years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On June 15, Will was pulled over on Brookfield Road just south of Davidson Road for a loud muffler and obstruction hanging from his rearview mirror.
