Wagfest Lets the Dogs Out

Elmbrook Humane Society fundraiser turns Mitchell Park into a puppy paradise.

Hundreds of local dog owners and dog lovers gathered Saturday at Mitchell Park for the fifth annual Elmbrook Humane Society Wagfest.  Animals maneuvered through the obstacle course, took a dip in one of many kiddie pools and relaxed in the sun. Dogs met other dogs, owners met other owners and everyone seemed to have a great time in the sun. In addition to the pet-centered activities, the festival offered food, shopping, raffles and entertainment. All proceeds from Wagfest will benefit the animals at the Elmbrook Humane Society.
