Brookfield Man Threatens to Shoot Wife at Work, Authorities Say

Police find 19 rifles and shotguns at man's home on Anita Court.

A 41-year-old Brookfield man is facing felony charges after he allegedly called his wife at work, and threatened to come in and shoot her and burn down their house. When police officers responded to the man's home in the 18700 block of Anita Court, they found 19 guns and rifles, as well as marijuana. Allen R. Hyde was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of possession of a firearm while intoxicated; one count of telephone harassment; one count of possession of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana; and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
