I am a parent, teacher, coach, Boy Scout Leader, cathechist, certified DNR Hunter Safety Instructor and volunteer with the Elmbrook Humane Society Pet Therapy Team. Among these areas of involvement I spend the majority of my free time visiting area schools and nursing homes with my licensed therapy dog, Nanuck. I love the outdoors and even spent one entire summer hiking the entire 1,000 mile Ice Age Trail with my family. I'm a member of the Wisconsin State Reading Association (WSRA). I'm also an avid reader and enjoy writing. 

We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.
