Laura J. Merisalo is a Milwaukee-based writer and editor for a variety of local and national clients. A journalist by trade, Laura has covered the governments and businesses of communities within the five-county Milwaukee metropolitan area while on staff with the Waukesha County Freeman and the Racine Journal Times, and as a freelancer writing for Milwaukee Magazine, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, The Business Journal of Milwaukee, and North Shore Lifestyle, among others. A Carroll University graduate, she also is a former city editor with the Journal Times.
